Who does cause the sun, the moon and the stars appear in the sky every day; Who does keep on changing the direction of the winds in every season? Who does send the beautiful gifts to the man sitting at home? Who does produce the milk, butter, sugar and honey? O' man, have you ever thought as to who is the great donor of all these bounties; Avtar says, have you seen the Formless God who dwells so close to you? |
Meaning
In this verse Shehenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji is asking us whether we have seen God (Nirankar) who has created this entire Universe and is sustaining it. We have so many wonderful things around us at home; eat wonderful food like milk, ghee, sugar, honey, etc. We daily see the sun and the moon rising and setting and beautiful stars in the sky every night. We see seasons change every year and other such beautiful creations of nature. Do we know who is bringing these wonderful things to us or who has created this wonderful Universe? Baba Ji says it is God who has created everything in this Universe and so it is necessary to know who God is.
